This lesson we will practice all the sounds you have learned so far. To speak well, you must be able to speak quickly and smoothly. So we will practice “tongue-twisters”. Don’t worry if they’re hard. They are hard for native speakers too. Just say them as fast as you can.

In lesson 1 you learned to pronounce ‘B’ and in lesson 2 you learned to pronounce ‘V’. Some people have trouble with the difference between ‘B’ and ‘V’ too. So in this lesson we will practice saying and hearing the difference between ‘B’ and ‘V’.
The second lesson introduces the sounds of two more letters in English: F and V. In it we practice similar words like “fan” and “van”, “safe” and “save” as well as “leaf” and “leave”. Both sounds start by touching your upper teeth to your lower lip. But what you do next is different for each letter. Watch the video for details.
In this first lesson, I will teach you how to say the sounds for the letters ‘B’ and ‘P’. These are sometimes a little hard for some people. Many of my students have trouble with words like “bear” and “pear” and think they sound the same. If you have the same problem, this lesson should help.
